If you claim PIP (Personal Independence Payments) then you can be eligible for an ECO4 Grant. There are a range of ECO4 grants that you can be eligible for to make your home warmer and more energy efficient.
You can apply for a Free Boiler Grant in just 60 seconds and if you’re eligible, you can have a brand new, energy efficient boiler installed for free. The grant includes a free survey and all installation is carried out by a qualified engineer.
Applying for a free boiler is not the only way that you can make your home warmer for less, as you can see if you’re eligible for a Free Insulation Grant. Having insulation in your home is an efficient way of stopping the heat in your home escaping, which helps to lower your heating bills and keep your home cosy. If you’re eligible, you can have insulation installed in your home for free by a qualified engineer.
If your home doesn’t currently have a central heating system, then you could be eligible for a First Time Central Heating Grant. So you can save on your heating bills and enjoy a warmer, more energy efficient home!
How Do I Get An ECO4 Grant?
To be eligible for ECO4 funding, you must be a domestic customer of a participating energy supplier and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You are in receipt of certain benefits, such as Pension Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance or Universal Credit.
- You have low income and high energy costs.
- You have medical needs that require extra heating or insulation in your home.
